Mattias Lundbäck

Ph.D. Economics
(Lund University, 2000)

My research comprises the following subjects:

  • Principal-agent theory and the reimbursement of government agencies, not-for-profit organisations and private producers within the social policy sector.
  • The organisation of social insurance in Sweden and abroad. The design of active labour market policies.
  • The interaction between labour market legislation, social insurance and unemployment insurance.

A  common denominator is principal-agent theory and the consequences of asymmetric infomation for the organisation of social- and labour market policies in Sweden as well as internationally.
