The economic impact of administrative regulation
Ratio has been commissioned by Tillväxtverket (the Office of Growth Analysis) to conduct a study on the economic effects of administrative regulation.
In recent years, a relief of the regulatory burden has been a
top priority for the government. Besides the direct costs, it can
be assumed that there are considerable indirect effects of
rules.
The report "The Economic Effects of the Regulatory
Burden" was published by the agency in February 2011. Read
the report here.
The project was led by Johan Eklund, PhD in economics at Ratio.
Tharshini Thangalevu was research assistant.
